6 Steps to Owning Your Franchise

1. Initial Chat and Info Pack

Once you have expressed interest either online or over the phone, we will then get in touch and provide you with our Franchise Information Pack. This will give you more of an idea of who we are and how easy the process can be to owning a SmartGrass franchise!

2. Discovery Day & Disclosure Agreement

This is where we meet for a day and expose you to some of the inner workings of the business. You are able to delve deeper into what it means to own a SmartGrass Franchise, and receive financial information for you to review with your accountant or adviser.

3. Franchise Agreement Signing

When you are confident the SmartGrass model is the right fit for you, we present you with a franchise agreement and select a territory. You then have a period to discuss the opportunity with your advisors (accountant / lawyer / family / friends). Once signed, you are officially a part of the team!

4. Kick-start marketing campaign & training

We’ll move full steam ahead with building relationships, advertising and scheduling work in your territory. In the meantime you attend SmartGrass Academy in Christchurch to learn how to operate a successful franchise, and install SmartGrass.

5. Fleet, Stock and Location Set Up

We organise all the plant, stock and equipment for your operation, and ensure everyone in your territory knows about your business.

6. Your new business is alive!

Work pours in and we help you to grow your installation team. Our business development team continues to build permanent channels of work for you in your territory.
