Flexible uses
SmartGrass provided Flex Fitness Kaiapoi with the majority of the flooring fit-out, which included artificial grass and acoustic gym tiles.
The artificial grass area is used daily for classes, weights and aerobic training. The Diehard 20 turf was specified as a high use surface, which stands up to the intensive use and sled pulls. SmartGrass’s 15mm Rubber Floor Tiles were also installed at the same time, giving a full flooring solution.
Creating an atmosphere
Introducing green space into gyms has proven very popular over the past few years. SmartGrass is not only a multi-use surface; it also creates a more inviting and natural atmosphere. Underlay is commonly installed under SmartGrass in gyms to prevent user fatigue.
