The challenge
Our client has a beautiful home and property but their dog left brown spots and dug the lawn up. The front lawn was not able to be used to its full potential.
Overhanging trees shaded the lawn and created mud during the winter months. Mud turned to dry, bald areas during the summer.
Our clients were busy juggling their careers and young children with no time for maintaining the lawn.
The solution
SmartGrass installers dug out the real lawn and laid a compact and stable basecourse with a nice timber edge. They then rolled out, cut and pinned the SmartGrass lawn.
SmartGrass Earth Series was chosen because its superior drainage capabilities meant the dog pee would drain straight through the fully permeable backing. There’s no need for the clients to worry about mud or bald patches anymore.
Our client and her children and dog can now enjoy the front yard where a beautiful lawn had previously been futile.
