Head of Grounds at University of Canterbury was positive that artificial grass was a best option for landscaping the newly built Beatrice Tinsley building. The university had used artificial grass on a project several years earlier, and had been underwhelmed with the quality of the product. The groundsman was determined that a better quality product could be sourced, and everyone agreed that SmartGrass was just what they were looking for.
Using architectural drawings supplied by the university, SmartGrass could quickly provide a quote for the two raised lawn areas. Designed with student relaxation in mind, it was important that the chosen turf was soft to sit or lie on. Oasis 35 was selected for it’s neat appearance and comfort.
SmartGrass worked alongside Goom Landscaping to complete the project on time and within budget for the University and everyone, especially the students were very pleased with the result.
